Beneq is an application-driven thin film equipment provider. We explore and develop atomic layer deposition (ALD) and aerosol coating, nAERO® and nHALO®, for high-end R&D and demanding industrial environments. Our business strategy drives us to identify a customer’s need, understand and develop a solution for it and commercialize it as equipment. Our focus is on equipment and technology for functional coatings, based on our experience to supply systems for research and industry.
As an integral part of our way of doing business, we protect and defend our know-how, processes and equipment. To date, our patent portfolio contains close to 100 patent families, including processes, equipment and applications.

In the role of equipment manufacturer, we are currently acknowledged as a leading authority, with in-depth experience and know-how of ALD and aerosol coating, and spear-head solutions for both equipment and applications.

Our strategy has three very distinctive steps, and they all portray specific levels of creating business together with a customer. The stage of identification is one of becoming aware of existing industry needs and opportunities. The first step can be carried out either internally, together with a customer, or externally, irrespective of a named customer. The understanding stage reflects the need to understand, not only the technical solution for, but also the business solution, model and value-chain of our customer. Finally, the commercializing phase is about turning the new solution into reality, or, as our mission states it, Turning Innovations into Success.
